Frequently Asked Questions

1. What fitness level do I need?

This trip is rated 4/5. You should be comfortable hiking several miles per day, handling elevation gain, and moving in variable weather conditions.

Once you’re accepted, you’ll receive access to a custom-built training app designed specifically for this trip. It helps you train locally based on your current fitness level, so you arrive prepared and confident.

You don’t need to be elite.
You do need to commit to preparation.

2. What if I’m nervous about the physical challenge?

That’s normal.

Every hike on this trip is structured as an out-and-back route. There is no obligation to hike to the very end of any trail — you move at your own pace.

That said… once you’re out there, you’ll probably want to keep going.

3. What happens if it rains?

We hike rain or shine. Iceland’s weather is part of the experience. Proper gear and preparation make all the difference — and you’ll receive guidance on what to pack.

4. Do I have to share a room?

Shared rooms are standard. If you prefer your own space, a limited number of single rooms are available for +$659.

5. What if the group minimum isn’t met?

If fewer than 8 participants register, the itinerary will still operate — but not as a private group experience.

6. Is airfare included?

No. International flights to/from Iceland are not included. Estimated airfare typically ranges from $800–$1,200 depending on departure city. I’ll happily assist you in selecting and booking the right flights to align with our group transfers and arrival timing.

7. Is travel insurance required?

Yes. Travel insurance is required for participation. It protects you and the group in case of unexpected events.

8. What if I need to cancel?

The $500 deposit is non-refundable. Full cancellation details are outlined in the Terms & Conditions.

9. What if I don’t know anyone?

Most women don’t.

Connection starts before departure through group communication and preparation support. By the time you arrive, you won’t feel like you’re stepping into a room of strangers.
